Best Western Plus Midcounty is a very clean, well-run hotel. We had a problem with TV during the thunderstorm. The on-duty manager addressed the problem after the storm passed and it's working great! The swimming pool is clean and makes a good lap pool. The free breakfast buffet is excellent, with scrambled (real) eggs and sausage. There is a coffee machine, yogurt, waffle-maker, juices and cereal, etc. We highly recommend BW Plus!
Was staying here for a couple of days, visiting my husband who travels for work and was working nearby & staying here. Clean room, AC works great, our mini fridge made an awful noise but no biggie, my kids and I enjoyed the breakfast there, very very friendly staff and we loved the housekeeping lady we met today! She even remembered my daughter's name and got us some extra trash bags for all these diapers! Right off the highway, easy to find and target and food places super close too! Overall, happy with our experience.
Hotel looks new. Has free EV charger lvl 2. Room seemed fairly clean, a few hairs on floor. Bed was comfortable and building was quiet. No smart TV no Netflix only satellite TV.
Very nice rooms and staff. Breakfast was great and always on time and clean dining area. Rooms were exceptionally nice and had comfortable beds. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to the area.
We had a two night reservation at a different brand local hotel that ended up being very dirty so we left after the first night and moved to Best Western Plus. When we checked in we told the front desk clerk what happened at the other hotel. When we arrived in our room he called us to confirm we were satisfied with the room. Very good customer service. The room was extremely clean and was very nice! The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we wished but still giving this 5 stars. Will definitely stay here again!
We stayed for the weekend at this Best Western in Port Arthur and loved it. This hotel has a very serene and calm vibe. Everything looks very upscale and it is extremely clean. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed, large TV and a coffee machine for K-cups that made very hot coffee. We also enjoyed the breakfast with very good hot and cold options. My absolute favorite thing was the pool. It is on the back side of the building facing a golf course which gives it a very private atmosphere. Next to the pool was a shaded grill area. There were also many restaurants and shopping options close by. Would definitely stay here again!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The housekeeping come changeout towels everyday without you even have to ask which is great! Also, you can put hang tag saying you need your room serviced outside your door and they come do full room service the same day. Nothing but positive things to say about my stay here
I had the pleasure of staying last weekend , And was actually quite amazed with the inside , the rooms were great ,great breakfast , But THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ? PHONEMONAL! Abigail was very knowledgeable about where everything was , she helped sign me up for rewards after i stressed to her how much i stay and never have had a free night , she helped me log in and when i asked her for more towels or something was wrong she didn’t hesitate to come help or provide me with my needs. SHE WAS THE SWEETEST HOTEL REP i have encountered in a very long time! I will definitely be back ! the area was kinda loud though so if you don’t like noise not the best place !
